Chicks with Goats Rebel Poe won Best in Show under judge Will Pearson at the 2019 Strutt the Rutt Buck Show. 234 bucks, including over 50 Nigerian Dwarfs, showed up for the biggest buck show in the nation. We were proud of his Reserve win, but were so incredibly humbled for him to win a second leg and a BIS as a yearling. It’s not often that Nigerians win BIS, so this victory left us a bit speechless.

Pearson said that Poe was exquisite and stylish, the most smoothly blended, with correct legs and great angulation, long body, and dairy appearance. In the BIS he was looking at a few bucks but said there was something he wished he could change about each except there was nothing he would change about Poe. For that reason, he awarded him Best in Show.

Our junior buck, Brazos Valley HP Hutch, placed 3rd or 4th very consistently in 5 out of 6 rings, with a big class of over 13 bucks age 6 months under 1 year.

Thank you to everyone who put on an awesome buck show. We had a great time and will be returning to MO to show again.
